NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher have been punished following their altercation at Gateway Motorsports Park.

Townley, who instigated the fight and landed several punches to the face was fined $15,000. Gallagher was fined $12,500 and both drivers have been placed on probation for the remainder of the calendar year.

The two drivers fought for nearly a minute after their second incident of the night at Gateway, tossing each other down the track before Townley repeatedly punched Gallagher in the face.

Earlier this week, Gallagher issued a public apology for his involvement, saying he was "ashamed."

NASCAR has also issued warnings to two Sprint Cup teams: The No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota of Matt Kenseth (Failed pre-qualifying LIS twice) and the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet of Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Failed pre-qualifying template inspection twice).
